We both woke around 6:30 and lay in our cots talking until about 6:45.  We went to the bathroom so I could shower and she could wash her face. 

Breakfast was bagels and yogurt for her and English muffins and boiled eggs for me. After spending about 90 minutes to shower, eat, and pack up, we were on the road by 8:15. A quick stop in Walmart for new flip flops and then we were on the road to St Louis and passed the arch and arrived at Ulysses S Grant's home just in time for the park movie and the 9:30 tour. Lorelei finished her junior ranger and we were back on the road by 10:30. 

We drove to Jefferson City to tour the state Capitol and then we drove to our campground at Round Spring in Ozark National Scenic Riverways. Our spot was in the sun so we drove to Devils Well on a 2 mile gravel road and had a nice hike to see the spring which is so deep you can't see the bottom. 

Back in the campground by 5:45, we repacked the cooler with ice and Lorelei set up the tent while I made tacos and salad for dinner.  We enjoyed a quiet evening in the tent waiting for the stars to come out.
