2009 has just flown

It's been almost a year since I started this blog. I have definitely not kept it up like I wanted to. We have done a ton of things this year. I can't believe that we have been to California twice, learned to ski in West Virginia, visited friends and family all over NC and Virginia, tent camped in 34 degree weather, spent time at the beach, camped in the Great Smokies, put in a fence, attended summer camps, read the entire Harry Potter series out loud as a family, lost several teeth, learned to ride bikes without training wheels and more things that we have forgotten.

We added 2 state capitols and 17 National Parks to our completed list this year. And in the next two weeks we will add our nations capitol and hopefully 20 more National parks to that list. We have had so much fun even when things did not go as planned. I am trying to stay on top of the blogging a little more in the next year so stay tuned...
